Intro to Teaching

Hi, my name is Emily Rhatigan and I am going to be teaching you about the life cycle of the butterfly. I will be teaching you about the life cycle through reading a story and drawing pictures from that story with a caption to explain their drawing underneath it. 

I will read "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" to my students allowed.  After we read and discuss the book as a class, I will instruct my students to think about their favorite part in the story and draw it.  Then, underneath their drawings, they would have to write one or two sentences explaining what they drew and why it was their favorite. Lastly, they would share with a partner their work of art and writing.
